Knitting & Crochet

My Aunt Martha taught me to knit when I was very young, maybe nine or ten.   I have been knitting over the years.  I learned to crochet the ripple blanket in my 30's when I was visiting my sisters-in-law in Austin, Texas.    I found that I prefer to make items for other people.   I crocheted at least 10 ripple designed afghans for family members over the years (the green and white blanket pictured).   I still have three projects waiting to be finished for me; but as I said, I like to knit and crochet for others before me.
